Gr.1 Queensland Oaks winner Miss Keepsake (NZ) to back up in Derby

Matamata trainer Andrew Scott has enjoyed what can only be described as a stellar Queens Birthday Weekend.

All up, the conditioner achieved three stakes winners, with none rating higher than his Gr.1 Treasury Casino Queensland Oaks winner, MISS KEEPSAKE (NZ).

Pennacchio (NZ) greenlights Gr.1 mission

The Align mare PENNACCHIO (NZ) could well provide her Matamata trainer Andrew Scott with a second Gr.1 winner for the season.

In winning Saturday’s Listed Myer Spear Chief Hcp (1500m) at Eagle Farm, the 5YO mare has given the greenlight to a tilt at the Gr.1 Winter Championship Stakes (1400m) at the same track in three weeks time.
